Do you ever feel like journaling or writing something down and then you decide not to because you know once you write it down, it becomes a thing and you are acknowledging it?

For me, this usually happens when I’m not ready to confront or admit what it is I want to journal. It’s like a conflict; I want to journal, yet I don’t want to because I’m not ready to face whatever it is I’m feeling or what is bothering me.

It also speaks to how powerful writing/journaling is. Just like I try to avoid writing stuff for fear that it’s realer than I want to admit, or anything else, that’s the same way with writing goals, aspirations, declarations, prophesies, confessions, affirmations etc. It has this unspoken thing about it that makes it powerful and real.

Writing is powerful, take advantage of it.
