I saw a tweet that said ‘when you’ve reached rock bottom, the only way is upwards’.

It reminded me of something I’ve always had in mind. When everything is bad, especially if it’s something you’re responsible for, eg. you not doing something well, it’s liberating to acknowledge that, ‘okay, this is the worst I can be right now, I can choose today to do something about it and move forward’.

Acknowledging where you are and moving forward, is liberating to me, and it takes a certain level of courage and humility to acknowledge that it’s true you’re responsible for some of the things not going right with you, but from today, you’re willing to start over; to do better.

It’s how I felt when I took the decision to do certain things in my life recently. It was just liberating to know that see, it’s bad, but let’s start again and get it right. I stopped thinking of what could have been and started where I was.

I don’t know about you, but in case you were looking for a sign, this is one. It’s not late to start again. Acknowledge where you are at the moment, no matter how low, then go again. This could be in your relationship, finances, walk with God, personal goals, etc. I’m rooting for you.

As always, remember to be a light in your space 💫
