It’s been 8 days since I shared something on the blog. I’m sorry about that. I’m supposed to update daily and I can give excuses but I’ll rather not. I take full responsibility.

Usually, for the day, I’d say a little of what I hope to talk about in my daily blog entries and so I want to do a week update of all that’s happened. However I’d like to continue where I stopped. So whether I had it in mind to post daily but didn’t, I’ll just continue with what it’s about, daily blog entries.

So today, I’m going to talk about today.

Today was a productive day for me. I got a good amount of work done and I’m pleased.

Lately I’ve been learning a few things of which one of them is that you have to be bold and sometimes some things are not as bad as you think.

In addition to all that, I want to share a lesson from what my eyes saw from yesterday evening till this morning. The lesson of it all is that, in all your lows, madness and foolishness, guess who sticks around to protect you and clean you?

Yes, your family.

At the end of the day, they face whatever shame you have brought, they take care of whatever problems you have caused, even to the extent of sacrificing.

When it comes to family, there’s a bond of love and protection and no matter how your family may act, at the core, they still love you.

I know not many have a family that has truly got their back but if you do, appreciate them and consider them when you’re making selfish decisions that could hurt or embarrass them.

As usual, be a light in your space 💫
