2018

Welcome y’all to 2018. For some reasons, I have a good feeling about this new year. I know, that’s how I’ve been having good feelings about previous years but this year is going to be filled with so much growth, I just know it.

First of, I want to apologize for the MIA. I can come up with excuses but I’ll spare y’all all that. This year, I plan to be more organized. Easier said than done right? Anyway, I’m going to try harder. I’ve put up plans in place and hopefully I get to execute them well. In 2018, I hope to take my blog serious. So to do that, I have made plans and they include posting at least once a week. I don’t want to be over my head by saying twice a week because I have work and then I’ll be going to school (kinda) in February by God’s grace, so I’m trying to incorporate all that. Who knows, I could be posting twice or thrice but one thing’s for sure, you’ll get a post from me every week, probably every Monday.

I’m also thinking of welcoming guest posts, but I’m yet to properly structure that. It’s still under the thinking process. Also, ViewPoint, is still going to be every first Monday of the month and I plan to make it better as the months go by. I know that of January is due today but it’ll be up tomorrow by 12pm, West African Time.  This particular series focuses on youths and religion, Don’t miss out on it. Concerning the ViewPoint coming up tomorrow, I’m sorry about that and I have to confess, I was a bit disorganized about it and to top it all up, my monthly visitor had to do its thing today. However, I want to change the whole being disorganized thing with my blog this year. My blog posts will be posted in due time and organized.

About 2017

2017 was a year filled with different emotions. That’s the best I can describe it. I saw sad times, I saw good times I saw times I can’t exactly describe. I met new friends, I got to know people better. There were a lot of new things I learned, I had new experiences, I learned a lot about myself and self acceptance. Yeah, I forgot to mention, I graduated from university too. I appreciate all that 2017 brought, even though some times were hard. I know 2018 will be better and I’m thankful to God, my family and my friends.

Looking at 2018

This year, I’m ready to challenge myself. I’m ready to work harder, I’m ready to try new things, meet new people, develop myself more and experience God even more. I have things I want to accomplish this year and I sure hope it all works out well. Hopefully, I start my business this year. Let’s see how that turns out.

Concerning 2018, I’d say you should pen down what you want to accomplish. Work harder, be more disciplined. This year has a lot and if you are not serious and focused, you can lose out on it all. By this time next year (2019), I want to look back and see that things turned out as planned and even more. I don’t want to regret anything because of laziness and shyness.

Finally, above all, give God your plans. He does 2 things to them. He either makes it happen beyond your expectations or He scraps it and points you to a better direction. In all, it works out just perfect for you, you need to trust Him. Also, develop a consistent relationship with God. A relationship with God comes with effort. It doesn’t just come to you like that. Just like you strive to maintain a relationship or friendship, that’s how it is with God. I pray your 2018 brings you great things. Have a lovely and fruitful year!
