To a Fresh Start – Rebranding

Last week I did a post Starting Afresh: Rebranding? I talked about how I wanted to rebrand. I wanted to change my niche from faith to Human behavior/psychology. Throughout the week, I thought hard about this and I have finally decided to rebrand.

My blog would still remain The Royal Deviant Blog but my contents and maybe theme and layout would change. I would be putting up contents related to human behavior such as mental health, why people behave the way they do, behavioral patterns in certain people and so on.

I would still do faith post but they wouldn’t be the main focus of the blog. This means they will be few, perhaps once or twice a month. ViewPoint will still be in place, which is every first Monday of the month. Also, my previous contents would still remain on the blog. I won’t be deleting anyone.

Another thing I want to do is to introduce new things to the blog such as publishing guest articles and story feature (I’m yet to come up with a cool name for that). For the guest articles, these articles will be articles in relation to the new vision (human behavior and faith related) of my blog. In that note, anyone interested could contact me via email at theroyaldeviant@gmail.com As for the story feature, it’s basically a platform for my viewers to share their own stories regarding psychological and mental disorders such as depression, bipolar, dyslexia, control, human behavior and so on.

The essence of this post is to inform you my viewers on my rebranding decision and the kind of things to expect from this blog. On that note, I intend to take a short break from blogging to plan properly for this. With that in mind, I want to resume blogging anew by Saturday September 1st. The first post I’ll be putting up is to let you all know in details what to expect from my blog and to introduce you to the new vision for my blog. Basically, everything would change and that definitely includes the blog’s about page. It’ll be like a brand new blog by September 1st.

I intend to take blogging seriously and this includes collaborations too. Hopefully, this is another chance to get things right. Please stick with me on this. Thank you for your patience.

Xx

  1. Congratulations Nakas. I think it’s going to be amazing. If you need some inspiration for how you want to go about this new rebranding; Tamara Lee of Mental Health Ministries has a blog that focuses on this.

The link to her blog is below:

On the other hand, I can’t wait to see how your rebranding goes in September 1st. In regards to guest articles: I would love to do one BUT I do have 2 others ahead, just to give you a heads up.

With your permission in regards to guest articles, I would like to do mine on faith based (like the man from the Gadarenes with the legion of demons in him.)

I cannot wait for September! I’m sure you’d do just fine. Re-branding is a perfect idea and recently, almost every blog I come across talks about it… Making me want to re-brand. Success babe

Thanks dear for the love. Well if you feel there’s more you want to add to your blog or something, then you could re-brand. But I love your blog anyway

I’m definitely looking forward to your blogs on human psychology. I feel it’s a whole aspect of life that most Africans neglect. So i’m hoping to learn your perspective about the psychology of our behavior and hopefully others are open-minded about this. I commend you for also taking a bold step into rebranding your blog, and I’m sure you put a lot of thought into this process.

Awww, thanks dear. Yeah you are right about Africans neglecting psychological issues. Part of the reasons I want to blog on it too. Thank you for the warm comment 🤗
