In 2001 two Christian Hymn writer, Keith Getty and Stuart Townend after been introduced by a friend came together after what seemed like a cup of coffee ago and wrote a song that has totally transitioned in its 19 year into our faith and hope in God – In Christ alone
You can say that I knew God from a rather young age. My parents were both devout Christians and they taught my siblings and I, right from when we were young, the way of God.
Pastors’ kids really get a lot of attention and I guess that’s for obvious reason; they are pastors’ kids, therefore examples to other children.
Everyone at some point in their lives gets anxious about something which could be a new job, new environment, making new friends, starting a new project, going through hard times and so on. I particularly usually have a lot of anxiety of which overthinking is a dominating characteristic. There are so many bible verses for anxiety. However, I have picked just 12 of them.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another – and all the more as you see the day approachingHebrews 10:24-25”
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven
Matthew 5:14-16 KJV”

Have you come across people who make you feel that what you believe in does not make sense? Everyone is entitled to their opinion and their beliefs too so you…
Do you pay attention to what you listen to?
“TV, movies, games and books are much like food – for your mind and soul”
Often times, I’d hear “be careful what you listen to and watch”, “be careful what your mind feeds on”. I knew it was true that what you listen to or watch could have effect on your mind but I never took it to heart.
I have heard that watching violent movies can make you violent or listening to music about violence, drugs, music that degrade women and even those that use profanity can have a negative effect on you. Always, I’d wonder how that is even possible. You know yourself, you know you can’t be violent, you know you respect women
Faith and fear is something that goes hand in hand. It’s either you are living in faith or you are living in fear.
Have you ever expected something to happen and you know it’ll happen because you have calculated how it could happen and probably there’s still time? Is that faith or logical reasoning? Ok, let me explain more, perhaps
