Day 30 – A defensive front

When you’re not happy with or angry at someone, you naturally wouldn’t listen to them and when you have a conversation with them, there’s a tendency to put up a defensive front.

I was reminded today that if you put your guards up like that, you’ve already concluded and just would not have a fruitful conversation.

So I’m telling you today, if you’re not happy with someone and they want to talk, be open about it and make sure you’re not hungry. You might be surprised but I’ve come to realize that when you’re hungry, anger and frustration hits more. That’s why when you’re frustrated and you take a break to eat, you feel better. I can’t be the only one that has experienced this right?
