Today’s content is a little different. Church today was amazing and I thought to share some of what was shared in church.

In church, the sermon title was “The zeal of the Lord”.

“For out of Jerusalem shall go a remnant, And those who escape from Mount Zion. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.”

Isaiah 37:32 NKJV

The word ‘Zeal’ in the Bible was translated from the Hebrew word “Qinna”, which means jealousy.

What is the zeal of the Lord?

The zeal of the Lord is God’s divine jealousy with which He operates to defend, restore, establish and promote His people and plan.

How to activate the zeal of the Lord in your life

Discover purpose and assignment

As Christians, our purpose is to know God and make Him known to others. How are you connecting what you’re doing, your career, to purpose?

Plant yourself in God’s system

One great system God has put in place for Christians is the church. To plant yourself in the church means to:

  • Pray with the church and for the church
  • Participate in the things of God, in the things God is doing in His church
  • Promote the things of God and His church
  • Partner with the church of God with your substance; your money

War with prophesies

“This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare,”

I Timothy 1:18 NKJV

The prophesies you have received in your life are a weapon. War with the prophesies God has given you.

How to war with prophesy

  • Receive the prophesies into your life
  • Renew your mind to accommodate and believe these prophesies spoken concerning you
  • Speak the prophesies over and over again over your life
  • Work hard with it

That’s it guys. I hope you picked something out of this.

Remember, be a light in your space 💫
